Some people dig them up from the ground and put them in a container when they're forcing them, though you can do it as easily in the ground.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6465961403933341421.post-66836182805153300682011-02-22T11:36:12.843+00:002011-02-22T11:36:12.843+00:00Hi Edith, i'm glad you approve of the rhubarb....Hi Edith, i'm glad you approve of the rhubarb. We cooked it in the oven, with orange juice and zest, grated ginger, and a bit of demerara sugar. The stalks we bought were HUGE. 3 stalks = 750g. I wish I had grown them myself.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6465961403933341421.post-27682378636964432312011-02-21T20:34:15.647+00:002011-02-21T20:34:15.647+00:00Get a large plant pot to put over the top of them,...Get a large plant pot to put over the top of them, that what I do and much cheaper.RobDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06665704024069579251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6465961403933341421.post-69477988643118836012011-02-21T18:16:28.882+00:002011-02-21T18:16:28.882+00:00Your spacing will be okay, and you've got them...Your spacing will be okay, and you've got them off to a really good start so now it's just a matter of waiting...Flighty.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6465961403933341421.post-29887339060905184672011-02-21T16:26:16.374+00:002011-02-21T16:26:16.374+00:00Dear Simon, As you say, those fresh young pink Rhu...Dear Simon, As you say, those fresh young pink Rhubarb stalks are just so wonderful that one's mouth waters simply thinking of them.
